So this gets sort of black hole-y when I think about it but I like it as a theory so I want to share.
Zoom out with me. From you where you are right now, zoom out, out of the room, vicinity you’re in, out of the land, the clouds, the planet, the solar system, keep going and pause somewhere deep into the galaxy. Vast darkness covered by a saturation of tiny lights. Trillions of tiny, sparkling dots on a black canvas. This is what I picture consciousness to look like. Just tiny specks of light that resembles something like our galaxy.
You zoom in and in and in, and you get to just us. A speck on a speck in a speck.
When a black hole event takes place and that small universe essentially swallows itself, the question is where does it go? I can imagine it goes inside itself and turned inside out. No longer existing where it was but somehow existing again, everywhere else.
Isn’t that just a spectacular thought to consider?
Just a fun idea. Sometimes I feel it’s good to occasionally think like Alice in Wonderland, just trying to come up with some of the most bizarre possibilities I can think of.
