Okay okay, picture this…
We’re in the future, when we’re finally at a point where we communicate with species on another planet or in another solar system. Now even further into the future our technology advances so much so that we’ve exceeded not only a universal language or the capability to speak and understand different languages around the world but the same goes for intergalactic species. Even further into the future, imagine it being so ordinary that we know the goings on, on other planets as though they were just other countries we could travel to. Instead of a different timezone, a different timeline completely. But we are so advanced, this is normal to us now. Remember there was a time when someone going to another country was not knowing if you’d see or hear from them again. Then sending word back home could take day, weeks, longer to arrive but eventually that too became normal. Now we not only can get a message to someone across the globe instantaneously but can see them as though they were standing right in front of us!
So is it so crazy, that there could be a possible future of communicating with life of another planet? Sure that’s assuming there even is life, and life capable of translating communication into forms we can understand. Yes I admit, it’s a little more far fetched than just talking to someone in another country but that was just as marvellous and crazy to comprehend when it was first thought of too! So you know, it’s just fun to think about is it not?
When random thoughts like this spring into my brain at random times of the day, I can’t help but picture it all in some sort of cartoon form like an episode of The Midnight Gospel or Rick & Morty. Even stoner shows as those who are just pure entertainment and completely absurd are fun to think about. What if there are dimensions like that, that we don’t know about? Why couldn’t there be? Are we so naive to think in the entire solar system, a mere speck on a speck in a speck, could be the only living, conscious things in existence? We may never know… but maybe we get to find out.
Anyway…
