The world is split 50/50

I tend to throw around this phrase quite regularly. Obviously if we get into the nitty gritty of numbers and percentages, its most probably not exactly split down the middle, but it seems to me that the post common of arguments seem to go one way or the other with a few greys in the middle that refuse to choose and keep the peace and the other odd few that genuinely have no clue what’s going on most of the time… So then who’s right? I have come to the conclusion that maybe everyone is? Or maybe neither of us are?! Orrr maybe there is no right or wrong answer!! Let me delve into this a little better…

So some hot topics at the moment are of course associated with Covid-19 – mask or no mask, take or don’t take daily vitamins, government spread or accidental lab leak, and one of the most common of debates, “to vaccine or not to vaccine, that is the question” (had to drop a Shakespeare reference somewhere in one of my blogs – there its done). Based on my own personal “research”, it seems to me that almost everyone I ask about these topics, is either one way or the other. And I will gladly be one of the greys in the middle, waving my little white flag trying to implore peace to all parties while forever keeping my own opinion buried away!

Now I’m generally only talking about the people who have had personal experiences and revelations about it, not those who just follow the trend or the people around them. So with the whole flu vaccine thing – all the people I know who are against it, have actually experienced or know someone that has experienced a bad reaction from it, where the vaccine (which may have probably helped anyway) gave them a bad side effect and/or made them ill. Some people take this as a clear indication that the vaccine is bad and refuse to ever try it again and therefore aren’t immune but are glad to take that risk. Others accept this and continue to get the vaccine because of personal convictions, even though it makes them initially sick but feel better off knowing that at least they’re immune. Then there’s the whole “injecting us with tracking devices” conspiracy but if we’re going to bring that argument into it, ill just wait while you put down that smart phone or laptop you’re probably reading this off. We have unfortunately already sold our souls to the beast of the technological world whether we like it or not! So who’s right?

I have come to the conclusion that there is no right or wrong answer. There just can’t be! Everybody is different, everybody has different bodies and functions, so isn’t it obvious that of course this man made, one-way injection is going to affect us all differently? And of course everyone is going to have a different opinion about it, no matter which side is most evident. So in that case, why doesn’t everyone drop the argument, keep the opinions to themselves and stop trying to convert everyone else that thinks differently to them? Why does there have no be an argument in the first place! And this goes for everything. Why are humans so insistent on belief bashing others with what they think. Or insist on having those around them believe in all the same things as they do? Our individuality is what makes us us, and I totally get the whole like minds collectiveness but do we not know already that everyone is different, has different upbringings, genetics, experiences, and of course point of views. There are so many things that make up a person that you can relate to, so why let just one opinion or decision change your mind about a person. Let’s just lay it all aside and let everyone do there own thing and live in a cooperative society. Alas, we know all this and yet, most people still refuse to silence that little voice inside their heads that tells you if someone doesn’t think like you, they must be incorrect. NO.

Look, i’ll admit – I was not always like this but I truly believe this certain way off thinking has made me a better person. I am friends with people who I probably would have disliked in my past based on things that I didn’t see eye to eye on and would have missed out on some great friendships because of it. I feel as though I can now connect with just about anyone on any level, completely judgement free and I am grateful for it. We have some pretty unique and quirky characters on this planet and I kinda want to meet you all!

At the end of the day, this is my way of thinking and no I will not belief bash you and tell you this is the right way to live. Instead I will just continue to befriend people – judgement free, be open to conversations and listen to absolutely everyones point of view and if I disagree with anyone, I will not let it change my deception of the person but continue to focus on the things that do spark connection. Doesn’t that sound nice? Again NOT BELIEF BASHING (wink) – but whatever, maybe you like judging. Who am I to judge you for wanting to be judgmental! You do you… I am now realising this entire point has contradicted itself but I don’t care. Let’s just spread love y’all, that’s all that matters. And with that I bid you a good life – peace out.
