I have taken a liking to a couple of the iPhone models that are in a specific colour range. I’ve always loved the emerald green as its my second favourite colour but I recently saw an ad for a yellow one which I thought looked kinda funky. Reminds me of a plastic 90’s Nokia and distracts me from the fact that the rare materials that make up the fragile block of cobalt that I carry around is a product of modern slavery and I am just as guilty for all the things I stand against in this world…
Then one night sprinkled with a side of insomnia, I lay in bed trying to turn my mind off when suddenly I thought, why have not been introduced to coloured Macbook laptops yet?
Yes if its not clear now, Apple took control of my technological space many years ago. It started with a passed down shuffle to a compulsory school iPad, to eventually a Macbook Pro and then a passed down iPhone which connected everything and from then, there really isn’t any going back. I now just have an iPhone and Macbook Air as my Pro sadly shat itself after 14years…
So how has this not been done yet? Sure you can just get a spicy laptop case. But you can also do the same with an iPhone and those seem to be popping. I 100% would be inclined to buy either an emerald green or sunflower yellow Mac over the mundane shaded colours we all subscribed to. Don’t get me wrong, grey is my favourite colour and I like my matching space grey laptop and phone but after a while, there’s just something too formal about it all. I use my screens mainly for leisure and if I am doing something of importance, I wouldn’t mind a splash of colour to inspire me.
I doubled checked after writing all this and turns out they actually have coloured Mac PC’s but not laptops so I am onto something…
Just some food for thought!
Mmmm. Food.
Peace.
