Ever get a candle that’s not very potent or you get gifted a single wick candle that just doesn’t give you the full utility of the scent in a big room or just doesn’t compare to a triple wick candle?
Part of my night routine is using candle light by my bed to read/wind down. During the summer nights when that tiny little flame feels like a someones turned off the oxygen in the room, I like to keep a little fan by my side to help with the airflow and just keep things slightly cooler. Unintentionally, I discovered that the fan was spreading the smell from the candle across the room and it also helped the scent appear faster! Duh, right? It seems like common sense but I’ll admit it slipped right by my mind…
Now whenever I’m using a candle and have a fan near by, I almost always pair the two with the fan facing slightly up and away from the flame and the difference is night and day.
So if you feel like you can’t smell your candle without hovering your head over the smoke, try this out!
